Chic Tags Nov 17 Sketch

I went to a great scrap day with my friend Kate and decided to have a go and the latest Chic Tags sketch.  I love their products, but admit that I don't yet have any.  :(  Anyway, I decided to give this multi-photo sketch a try with pics from a day out in the Watagan mountains near home.  We went 4 wheel driving, then bushwalking (with leeches - eek!), then had a picnic lunch.  The kids loved it and so did we.

Thanks for looking.  :)

Stuck! October First Challenge

I really liked Laura's first sketch for Stuck! this month, so created this layout at the fundraising day I attended in early October.  I just love this pic of my eldest daughter dancing around with her necklaces on, just enjoying herself.  Love how the layout turned out too.  :) Thanks for looking.

Scrap The Boys October Challenge

Another colour challenge - this one to use blue and green for the Scrap The Boys challenge.  I used a great pic my dh took of our son and his 3 cousins relaxing on the jetty after a swim in the lake.  I have lost the 'i' in my title and didn't realise when I took the pic.  Can't find it either! Thanks for looking!

Kraft It Up October Challenge

This month's Kraft It Up challenge was a colour challenge - Kraft + Navy + Orange + White or Cream.  I used it to scrap some pics of my guys on their skateboards at the park. Thanks for looking.  :)

White with 1 October Challenge

I loved the watermelon colour challenge at White With 1 and love how the layout turned out with my girls.  TFL!

Scrapbookingfromscratch - October Colour Challenge

The colours the October Scrapbookingfromscratch challenge were purple, black, white and yellow - a good mix for Mason's soccer pics.

TFL!

Scrap The Girls - October Challenge

Managed to get a few more layouts done today scrapping with friends once more.  This one is for the Scrap The Girls puzzle challenge - using a hexagon (background misting), a squiggle (some doodling), a circle (pink with a flower), a rectangle (the photo and pp) and strips (pp and washi).  My two girls keeping themselves amused while we were waiting for Dad and their brother.  TFL!

ScrapFriends September Colour Challenge

Another layout I managed to get done at the fundraiser on Saturday - a colour challenge for ScrapFriends.

Love the greens in this palette.  I didn't use an pp - a bit strange for me, really - But I did use mist, so I guess that balances life out .  :)  Thanks for looking.  :)

My Creative Sketches - September Sketch

Another layout I managed to get done this week was the current sketch for My Creative Sketches.  Just a simple one of the girls enjoying their icecream (a rare treat). Thanks for looking.

Life Paper Scrapbook - September Colour Challenge

I had an awesome day on Saturday at the Scrapbook Divas fundraiser - I managed to get 11 layouts done in 12 hours.  :)  Not bad, hey?  Fabulous table companions obviously helped.  :)

I did take my first turn at a Life Paper Scrapbook  colour challenge and used a new stencil I picked up at Riot last week. The base colour looks brownish, but it is definitely a butter yellow. :( Thanks for looking!

White with 1 September Challenge

I love green, in any shade, so having a go at this month's White + 1 (pistacchio) challenge was a good excuse as any to scrap.  I pulled out some papers (yes old ones) in the right colour range, and then pulled my photo.  When I printed this pic (a couple of months ago) I didn't expect to scrap it this way, or to journal this way to my kids about the life lessons I want them to learn.  You just never know where your thoughts and creativity will take you.  So glad I made this layout though!  TFL!

Scrap The Girls September Challenge

This month the STG challenge was a colour challenge - orange, green and pink!  Luckily I had some park photos of Alyssa that fitted the bill.  I pulled out a Pagemaps sketch, some Echo Park and old Basic Grey and set to work to create a layout about her love for her baby doll.  :)  TFL!

Scrapbooking From Scratch's September Colour Challenge

I decided to give the SFS colour challenge a try this month.  The colours appealed to me and seemed a good fit with the pics of my girls having fun and enjoying a cart ride behind their Dad's bike.  Used some recent MME papers.  TFL!

Stuck! September 1st Sketch

I had fun playing with the Stuck!  September 1st Sketch and some MME goodies I bought when they were released.  With the help of the sketch, it fell together easily.  TFL!

Stuck! August 5 bonus sketch

I had fun playing with this sketch from Stuck! 6 year anniversary month.  My Father-In-law and his love of dessert and life just suited the quote perfectly.  Thanks for looking.

Kraft It Up August Challenge

Loved playing in my own style for the August Kraft It Up challenge.  Butterflies, stamping, tape, layers.  Love this pic of my youngest and really happy with the layout.  :)  Thanks for looking.

Scrap The Girls - August Recipe Challenge

I had a lot of fun with this layout for the Scrap The Girls challenge.  This is an older pic of my now 2 and a bit year old Alyssa.  Very happy with how it turned out - especially seeing as I clustered - that alone usually takes me forever but the recipe on this one just helped everything flow.  The recipe called for flowers, masking, doodling and either wood or chip, and I went with chip.  Thanks for looking!

Life.Paper.Scrapbook - June Colour Challenge

I couldn't resist the lovely bright colours of this challenge from Life.Paper.Scrapbook magazine.  Such a gorgeous publication and challenge.  I love how my layout turned out.  :)  The chevy is navy IRL.  TFL!

Scrap The Boys - May

The challenge at Scrap The Boys this month was to create an arty/messy/grungy layout.  This one certainly is much messier than normal for me, but its good to try things outside your comfort zone, right?  :)  TFL!

The Stamp Spot - May

The May challenge at The Stamp Spot was to create a feminine layout (to compliment last month's masculine one).  I had a bit of play with layering and adding more detail, but I struggled.  I just can't bring it together.  I am happy with this one of my niece and my youngest daughter though.  :)  TFL!

Just for fun

I did this one using a sketch from My Creative Sketches last month.  As soon as my daughter spotted these dolls, she called them her Mummy Daddy dolls.  She loves them so much.  Couldn't resist documenting this one for future reference.  :)

The Stamp Spot - April

A masculine layout for the April challenge at The Stamp Spot.  Love how simple this one was.  Love this photo and am very happy with the layout.  TFL.  :)

Stuck! Challenge -April 1

Here's another layout I completed for the Stuck! sketch on April 1.  Love getting these older pics on the page.  :)  Thanks Sara for the inspiration!  TFL.

Scrap The Boys April

Another layout from my retreat.  This one was a sketch challenge for Scrap The Boys, and a fun one.  :)  TFL!

Scrap The Girls April

I went to a fabulous retreat at the start of April, where I managed to get 17 layouts, 8 cards and 1 mini book complete in 48 hours, so I was pretty happy! :)  So I have lots of challenge entries to upload.  :)

This is the first, for the Scrap The Girls April challenge, which was to use buttons, mist/paint and hexagons, and of course only pics of girls.  :) TFL!

Scrap The Boys March

This month's challenge at Scrap The Boys was to use 2 photos, washi, mists/paint and chipboard.  I had fun scrapping these pics of my son and his friend taken at the motor show last year. TFL!

Kraft It Up March Challenge

This month's challenge at Kraft It Up was a sketch challenge, so I decided to give it a go.  I'm quite pleased with how it turned out, even if the cardstock was a bit too thin for my misting and warped a bit.  :)

TFL!

Scrap The Boys Feb Challenge

I don't often have just the right photos for the Scrap The Boys challenge, but this month I made do with an older one.  :)  The theme was to scrap a photo of you and your boy, using a Boy inspired love theme.  At the moment, there are lots of things I could list that I don't love (attitude wise) but the challenge did make me look beyond the current frustrations to all the things that are special and that I do love about Mason.  :) TFL!

White With 1 Feb Challenge

The criteria for this month was white + pink + hearts at White With One, so I decided to give it a go.  I'm really pleased with how this one turned out.  Feels good to scrap again and to use some older pp up along with way.  :)

Thanks for your comments.  I appreciate every one.  :)
